Angie recently slipped and injured her wrist - she has possibly fractured it.  Due to this unfortunate accident, Jackson Daly will not be performing for a while.  We will keep you posted as things progress.  Thank you for your support everyone!  

Last night's show at The Winds Cafe was fabulous!  Michael Plishka opened the show with a great set as usual, and Kate Newcomer played after Jackson Daly with her awesome guitarist, Martin.  Shades of Ebony was there selling beautiful hand-made jewelry and awesome-smelling scented candles.  We got one called 'ocean mist' and it has been heavenly!  Our thanks goes out to Tom Slaughter, owner of the Winds, for bringing out the most delicious food for all of us to enjoy after the show - the buffalo wings and grilled veggies ruled, as did all of the goodies.  

BIG NEWS ITEM:  A clip from our song 'Magic Ocean' has been placed in Vallonicka Films' upcoming independent film, 'The Mongol King,' written and directed by Anthony Vallone.  DVDs and information on showings will soon be available on their website at www.TheMongolKing.com.

It's official:  We're going on TOUR!  Jackson Daly and Kate Newcomer will be touring the East Coast for Memorial Day, and plan on playing in Boston, New York, Baltimore, Philadelphia and Washington D.C.  More information coming soon!

We just got back from our trip to L.A.  It was a smashing success!  We played a great gig at the Coffee Gallery Backstage - our thanks goes out to Bob Stane for having us and inviting us back next time we're on the west coast.  We also performed at the Just Plain Folks Los Angeles Showcase at Rusty's Surf Ranch on the Santa Monica Pier, where we met lots of great artists, including Steff Mahan of Nashville and John M. of Los Angeles.  The TAXI Road Rally had many opportunities for us to learn more about the music industry, and we especially enjoyed a wonderful seminar by multi-million-selling songwriter, Jason Blume.
