“Very Nice. . . Excellent recording.  Perfect Guitar work.  Very pretty voice.”

“These songs have some infectious riffs; I've already caught myself singing the chorus to "The Driving Song" a few times. Come to think of it, that song is a great example of the universality in the music. The most thrilling piece, however, has got to be "Set Me Free." I find myself listening to it over and over . . . it's impossible to deny its power. As a piece of storytelling, it's appropriately simple. As an emotional map of a moment, it's appropriately complex. ("Make me feel dangerous / Make me feel safe" is just one of the song's heart-stopping turns of phrase.)  The song demands an excellent vocal interpretation to deliver to its fullest . . . and Maggie Daly's voice rises to the challenge. There isn't a nuance of sensuality, seductiveness, serenity, or vulnerability that her voice hasn't found and gently held aloft. It's as forceful as it is restrained. Musically, the guitar and strings are appropriately lush, yet the occasional minor chord serves as a gentle touch of melancholy, just below the surface. Above all, the song works so well because, as a whole as well as vocally, it's so honest and personal. That's also true of "Almost Forgetting". . . It's arguably their most accessible song.  [Jackson Daly] has literally laid themselves bare, so much so that I feel I could play this for a friend and by the end, they'd feel like they know the band. I hear so much of Maggie in those 2 songs, I can almost feel her in the room with me. As a musician, her ability to connect so viscerally with her audience is the talent that will serve them best.”

“We would like to THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts for the most "AWESOME" home concert that you performed over Labor Day Weekend!!  We had people calling all day Sunday telling us how much fun they had Saturday, with reviews like you wouldn't believe!!!  Of course, my heart just swelled with each and every phone call!!  I can definitely see a "HUGE" future for Jackson Daly, and I for one am proud to know each and every one of you!!  Your talent is ever-flowing and the love goes through each and every one of you - that you can tell through your playing.  I am looking forward to the next concert.

“These days, some enterprising musicians and music lovers have revived the tradition [of rent parties] - sort of.  They are holding house parties where acoustic acts are getting up close and personal with their fans and vice versa.  These shows are intimate and engaging and a welcome alternative to smoky nightclubs. . .”
